General

Items are described as accurately as possible but due to monitor / screen variations the colour of items may not be exact and we advise customers to check before ordering. The paints we use are standard retail colours and where possible listed.

Sizes are approximate, specific measurements can be provided on request if it’s important. It is up to the customer to ensure items are fit  for purpose and of appropriate size.

Wood can expand and contract depending on humidity and temperature. Where this may cause issues we will do our best to make this clear. However, if items are to be used in extreme damp or humid conditions we should be advised.

Guarantee

All good supplied by ourselves have a no quibble money back guarantee in regard to faulty goods or poor workmanship. The guarantee does not cover postage  / courier costs and is limited to the cost of the goods sold. This does not affect any statutory rights you may have under consumer law. Any goods received damaged should be notified to us within 3 days of delivery with photographic evidence if possible.

Payment

We do not have a credit account system all stock goods must be paid for on ordering. Payment by cash should not be made by post, we accept no responsibility for cash lost this way. Cheque payment is accepted on the understanding that goods will not be dispatched until the cheque has cleared our account. Payments via Paypal are subject to their terms and conditions available here  All goods remain the property of ourselves until paid for in full.  Should you require a credit account different terms and conditions will apply on an individual basis.

Personalised orders

Customers for personalised items are required to pay a 20% deposit to cover design and material costs. Cancellation of personalised orders should be made in writing (email is satisfactory) within 2 days of ordering in order to consider any refunds. Refunds for personalised items are at our discretion and may be liable to charges and or handling fees. It is the responsibility for the customer to provide correct spellings for text on personalised items. Draft designs will be emailed to customers to proof any personalised items and these should be responded to as quickly as possible.

Delivery

Delivery times are estimated and not guaranteed so please ensure orders are made in plenty of time. Al’s Woodcraft will accept no responsibility for good delivered late as this is beyond our control. If you require goods delivered at a specific time or date we will do our best to accommodate but this may incur extra charges.

Changes to terms and conditions

Terms and conditions are updated regularly. Any changes will be notified in advance to existing customers. New terms and conditions supersede all previous terms and conditions.
